Mascara

Hello, and welcome to my new blog in which I blather about makeup, beauty products, and life.

First up: mascara.

I have long, fine, straighter than a stick lashes. Seriously, I look like I flat iron them. So, I tend to use a volumizing mascara rather than an elongating one.

Yays!
Drugstore:
Maybelline Mega Plush-- gives me big, fat lashes with minimal to know clumping or fall out.
Maybelline Falsies--gives me pretty good, full lashes. I loved it until I found Mega Plush.
Covergirl Clump Crusher--gives me clump free lashes that look natural, but enhanced.

High end:
Josie Maran Instant Volume Argan Mascara-- gives me full, soft, healthy looking lashes. I like to    vamp this up with Benefit's They're Real mascara to I've a false lashes effect.
Korres--gives me lashes that hold curl, but are sort of . . . crunchy.
Dior Show--gives me big fat lashes with some flaking.

Nays
Drugstore:
Rimmel Scandal Eyes--gives me spidery lashes. Do not want.
Maybelline Rocket--also gives me spider lashes. Ew. So bad, I threw it away after the first use.
L'Oreal Voluminous Lashes--gives me adequate lashes, but there are better brands.
Maybelline Great Lash--gives me standard lashes, but why bother when I can have amazing ones?

High end:
Benefit's They're Real--gives me spiky lashes, which by themselves aren't awesome, but as a second or third coat after my Josie Maran makes my eyes look amazing.
Smashbox--sadly, I haven't found one I like.
Stila--ditto as Smashbox.

I have tried several others, but these are the ones that really stand out to me.
